Robertson Tracks a Tribute to Hootie

Timothy Michael Robertson headed back to the studio last Saturday to finish vocals on a track for his upcoming gospel album due out this summer. However, the inspiration behind this tune isn’t from the southern gospel community but from his days at the University of South Carolina.

Engineer Steven Estrada is currently putting the finishing touches on a re-mix of “Hold My Hand,” which was released in July 1994 by Hootie & the Blowfish and charted at number ten on the Billboard Hot 100.

Eric Uglum Officially On Board For Robertson Project

Eric Uglum, owner and operator of New Wine Sound Studio & Mastering Lab in Southern California, has officially joined the team responsible for the southern gospel release from Timothy Michael Robertson. Eric (who’s solo album on Backcountry Records, Shenandoah Wind, was selected by Bluegrass Now magazine as the best album of 2005, and the song “Shenandoah Wind,” with Alison Krauss, was on the Bluegrass Unlimited chart for much of the year) will take lead on final mixing and mastering.
